Loss of personal items – losing your keys, documents, credits cards, tickets or even money are not included in the baggage and personal coverage provision of your insurance policy. Be extra careful in handling these personal belongings.
Psychological illness – injuries caused to one’s self due to emotional/mental breakdown is not an accepted reason to cancel your trip.
Pregnancy/childbirth – the insurance provider will specify the conditions which this event will be covered, but most of the time it is excluded from their coverage.
Marital discord – if your spouse files for divorce prior to the trip, your policy is not inclined to refund you the costs.
