Read and fill out the forms cautiously. A list of items that are considered illegal is written at the back of the form, and clear guideline in filling up the form is outlined.
Declare everything that you have, specially if you’re not sure whether the items you have are considered legal. They don’t accept the reasoning that you don’t know.
Don’t create a fuss if the bag inspection is taking a long time. It may be a basis for sending you to a second screening.
It is possible to request for an agent of the same sex to do the search.
